Then heat up a waffle iron over medium to high heat (here level 7 of 10) &#038; grease with butter or oil if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>For each waffle, put a heaping tablespoon of batter in the hot waffle iron, close the waffle iron &#038; bake the waffles in it for about 1 &#8211; 2 minutes. Then carefully lift out of the waffle iron &#038; let cool on a grid.<\/p>\n<p><em>Tip: The longer the baking time, the drier the waffles will be.
