Simple & Easy Mushroom Baguettes<\/p>\n

Ingredients for 4 Mushroom Baguettes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • 1 large baguette<\/li>\n
  • 400 grams of mushrooms<\/li>\n
  • 1 onion<\/li>\n
  • 1 clove of garlic<\/li>\n
  • \u00bd bunch of parsley<\/li>\n
  • Approximately \u00bd cup of cream<\/li>\n
  • 100 grams of grated cheese<\/li>\n
  • Oil for frying<\/li>\n
  • Salt & pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preheat the oven to 200\u00b0C (grill function). Peel onion and garlic and chop finely. Cut mushrooms (not too thin) into slices. Finely chop parsley. Halve the baguette once & cut each half longitudinally.<\/p>\n

      …for the mushroom stuffing:<\/em><\/p>\n

      Heat up a large pan adding a dash of oil & saut\u00e9 onions and garlic over medium heat for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Next add mushrooms and fry turning occasionally for about 3 – 4 minutes until the mushrooms shriveled up a bit.<\/p>\n

      Season well with salt and pepper, then add about \u00bd cup of cream and the finely chopped parsley. Stir in the spices and let simmer the cream briefly, then pull the pan from the heat.<\/p>\n

      …for mushroom baguettes:<\/em><\/p>\n

      Spread the mushroom stuffing evenly over the baguette halves and garnish each baguette with a bit grated cheese, then bake in preheated oven for about 6 – 7 minutes until the cheese is melted. Pick the baguettes from the oven and serve. Bon Appetite!<\/p>\n
