After the marinating time, heat up a large pan without adding oil or fat, give the meat in portions into the pan &#038; sear for 3 &#8211; 4 minutes from all sides. Afterwards lift the gyros out of the pan, spread in a casserole dish &#038; set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Put the meat pan back on the stove over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of tomato puree and 2 tablespoons of ajvar to the pan and allow to roast for about 1 minute while stirring constantly.
