Distribute the candied fruits or cherries on top of the almond layer and then bake the Florentine slices in the oven until golden brown for another 10 &#8211; 12 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the baking tray from the oven after 12 minutes, allow to cool completely &#038; cut the Florentines into 24 equal squares and serve afterwards.
