Instructions:
…for the pizza dough:
Crumble ½ cube of yeast into a large vessel, add 1 teaspoon of sugar & also pour in 200 milliliters of lukewarm water. Stir with a whisk or a fork until the yeast and sugar have dissolved completely.
Give 400 grams of flour into a mixing bowl, por in the yeast-water mixture, also add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of salt. Knead with your hands or a food processor to a smooth dough. Then form a ball of the dough, give the ball of dough back into the mixing bowl and sprinkle with 2 – 3 tablespoons olive oil. Rub the dough ball all around with olive oil and then let rest/stand covered with a kitchen towel for about 30 – 45 minute in a warm place (possibly in the oven at 30°C).
…for the quick pizza sauce:
Peel onions and garlic and chop coarsely. Add onions and garlic along with 150 grams of sieved tomatoes and 2 tablespoons olive oil in a high vessel. Season with ½ teaspoon of marjoram, ½ teaspoon of basil, ½ teaspoon of oregano, a pinch of sugar and a litte salt & pepper. Puree using a hand blender to a smooth & creamy tomato sauce, then set aside.
…for the pan pizza:
Timely preheat the oven to 250°C (top/bottom heat). Get the dough after resting period carefully out of the bowl and cut with a knife in two equally sized pieces. Place each piece of dough in the center of the pizza pan and press from the center to the outside using your fingers, so that the dough fills the entire pan & and you got a beautiful & fluffy pizza edge.
Completely prick the pizza crust (not the edges) using a fork and then give 3 tablespoons of pizza sauce on the crust. Cover the sauce with about 100 grams of grated cheese, then garnish with 15 small slices of salami/pepperoni.
Bake the pizza for about 12 minutes on the bottom (without an additional sheet) of the oven. Get the ready baked pizza out of the oven, slice it up and serve.
Bon Appetite!
