…preparations:
Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Line a springform pan with a sheet of baking paper.
…preparations for the batter:
Give 300 milliliters Guinness & 250 grams of butter in a pot and melt butter over low heat while stirring. Once the butter is completely melted stir in 400 grams of sugar and 80 grams of cocoa powder with a whisk and keep on stirring until all ingredients are well incorporated, then remove the pot from the stove and set aside.
…for the batter:
Add 1 cup sour cream, 1 packet vanilla sugar and 2 eggs into a mixing bowl and stir together using a mixer or food processor for 2 – 3 minutes. Then add the chocolate Guinness mass, 275 grams of flour and 2 packets of baking soda and stir together for another 2 – 3 minutes until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared springform pan and bake in a preheated oven for about 1 hour. Get the cake out of the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes in the springform pan, then loosen the pan and let cool completely onto a wire rack.
…for the topping:
Stir together 300 grams of cream cheese and 150 grams of powdered sugar with a mixer or food processor for about 1 – 2 minutes until the icing sugar has dissolved clumping free. Next add 1 cup cream and continue stirring until you got a spreadable mass.
Spread the topping onto the cooled cake, then cut the cake into pieces and serve. Bon Appetite!
