Our Recipe Rating:
Ingredients for about 15 – 20 cookies:
- 200 grams of flour
- 150 grams of sugar
- 100 grams of butter
- 1 egg
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- ½ sachet of baking powder
- 75 grams of bake stable chocolate chips
- About 150 grams of M&Ms
Kitchen Helper/Gadgets:
- Mixer/Food processor
- A mixing bowl
- Baking sheet + baking paper
- Sieve
- Spatula
- Piping bag with large round spout
Instructions:
Get butter timely out of the fridge or briefly warm up butter in the microwave, but do not melt. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (top/bottom heat). Add soft butter, sugar, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar & 1 egg in a mixing bowl and stir together for about 2 – 3 minutes until white & creamy.
Get a sieve and sift 200 grams of flour and ½ sachet of baking powder to the cookie batter. Stir together using a mixer or spatula for about 1 minute until the flour is completely incorporated and everything is well combined. Finally add 75 grams of bake stable chocolate chips and fold in using a spatula.
Transfer the batter into a piping bag with a large round spout and squirt small batter heaps onto the prepared baking tray (alternatively, you can also place the batter heaps with a tablespoon or ice portioner).
Leave plenty space between the batter heaps, because the cookies will break up during baking. Finally decorate each batter heap with about 10 M&Ms and then bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12 – 15 minutes until golden brown. Get the cookies out of the oven and allow them to cool completely on the baking tray, then serve. Have fun baking!
