In today’s post I will show you a delicious hamburger recipe & although today we are cooking a super delicious cheeseburger with cheese sauce & nachos or tortilla chips.

The Nacho cheeseburger is made super quickly & exceptionally tasty. Anyone who has ever wondered how nachos taste on a burger should definitely try this recipe! Have fun cooking!

Ingredients for 4 servings:

…for the cheese sauce:

  • 250 grams Kraft Singles®
  • 100 milliliters milk
  • 2 red peppers
  • ¼ lemon
  • Each ¼ teaspoon cumin, ground coriander & paprika powder
  • Salt, sugar & pepper

…weitere Zutaten:

  • 500 grams minced beef
  • 8 burger buns (store bought or homemade)
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 100 grams nachos
  • Salt & pepper
  • Oil for frying

Kitchen Helper/Gadgets:

  • Large pan
  • Pot for the cheese sauce
  • Whisk
  • Large bowl


…for the cheese sauce:

Deseed red peppers and then finely dice. Transfer the pepper cubes along with 100 milliliters milk, 250 grams Kraft Singles® and the juice of ¼ lemon into a small pot. Season with each ¼ teaspoon of cumin, ground coriander and paprika powder as well as a good pinch of salt, sugar and pepper.

Then heat up all the ingredients over low to medium heat, while stirring constantly with a whisk. Continue stirring until the cheese is completely melted & you got a creamy sauce. Remove the cheese sauce from heat and set aside until serving.

…more preparations:

Cut tomatoes into slices. Halve burger buns & roast with the cutting sides down in a large pan until golden.

…for the patties:

In a mixing bowl knead together 500 grams ground beef with a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Divide the beef into 4 equally sized portions and flatten with your hands to form burger patties.

Heat up a large pan adding a small dash of oil and fry the burger patties for 2 – 3 minutes each side. As soon as the patties are done, the burgers can be put together, spread the bun’s bottom half with a good tablespoon cheese sauce & build up the burger with lettuce leaves, tomato slices, burgerpatty, nachos and more creamy cheese sauce.
