A Caramel Frappuccino is a popular cold coffee beverage in many Starbucks outlets, coffee meets caramel, milk & crushed ice. For a Frappuccino all ingredients are briefly blended and afterwards served with whipped cream and caramel sauce in a glass.
In today’s post I show you how simple & easy it is to make a delicious Homemade Caramel Frappuccino like the Starbucks ones. Have fun!

Ingredients for 1 large glass Caramel Frappuccino:
- 125 grams ice cubes
- 100 milliliters strong coffee
- 100 milliliters milk
- 150 milliliters cream
- 50 grams sugar
- A small piece butter
- A pinch of salt
Required kitchen gadgets, helper & preparations:
- Non-stick (frying) pan
- High container for pureeing
- Blender or stand mixer
- Large glass for the Frappuccino
- High container for the cream
- Piping bag with star nozzle
- Drinking straw
Instructions for the Homemade Caramel Frappuccino:
First brew 100 milliliters strong coffee, then set aside & allow to cool. Next, with a mixer beat 75 milliliters cream until stiff, transfer to a piping bag & set aside until serving.
…for the caramel sauce:
Heat up a non-stick pan adding 50 grams sugar over low to medium heat. After a few minutes, the sugar should start to melt, then stir with a wooden spoon or a spatula until the sugar has completely melted & the sugar’s color turns to golden brown.
Now add a small piece of butter as well as a pinch of salt, stir until the butter is melted completely & then carefully pour in 75 milliliters cream. Stir together over low to medium heat until you got a golden brown caramel sauce. Pull the pan from heat & allow to cool briefly.
…for the Caramel Frappuccino:
Give the cooled coffee together with 125 grams ice cubes, 100 milliliters milk & ¾ caramel sauce into a high container, then blenderize for about 1 minute until smooth.
…for the toppings:
Pour the done Caramel Frappuccino into a large glass, top with the prepared whipped cream & the rest of the caramel sauce.
Finally insert a drinking straw & serve immediately. Have fun drinking!
