A “One Pot Pasta” is a fast pasta dish where all the ingredients, including the pasta, are cooked in a pot. The noodles are cooked together with all other ingredients and thus absorb the taste of the sauce during the cooking time.

A few weeks ago I already showed you a recipe for a delicious one pot pasta with meat sauce, in today’s post I show you a variant with tagliatelle pasta, canned tuna & a creamy tomato sauce. Have fun cooking!

Next add 500 grams tagliatelle pasta, the tomato puree, 2 cans tuna (with juice & brine), 1 liter water, 200 milliliters cream & 1 teaspoon of salt to the pan, give everything a good stir & then bring to a simmer.

Allow to simmer gently with the lid closed for about 10 – 12 minutes over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally from time to time, so that all ingredients are well distributed and nothing can burn to the bottom of the pan.

As soon as the tagliatelle are cooked & the liquid has almost completely absorbed, season the one pot pasta with salt & pepper to taste, stir well one last time & then pull the pan off the heat. Spread the one pot pasta on deep plates and serve garnished with finely chopped parsley. Have fun cooking!
