Over the last while we have had very little time for an elaborate meal or for cooking and baking in general. That’s why we mainly serve dishes that take little time.
In today’s post, I’ll show you how to cook super delicious tuna baguette breads, for this you only need baguette breads to crisp up, a can tuna, creme fraiche or sour cream, an onion & some grated cheese. Have fun cooking!

Ingredients for 1 Asparagus Cake with Salmon:
- 4 baguette breads to crisp up
- 200 grams creme fraiche or heavy sour cream
- 125 grams grated cheese
- 1 can tuna (in own juice)
- 1 red onion
- Salt & pepper
- Parsley for garnish
Required kitchen gadgets, helper & preparations:
- Mixing bowl
- Baking Sheet + baking paper
…for simple tuna baguette breads:
Peel a red onion, chop finely & place in a mixing bowl. Add 200 grams of heavy sour cream, 125 grams of grated cheese, 1 can of tuna (including the juice) & a good pinch of salt and pepper & stir with a spoon until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat) in good time. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Halve the baguette buns in the middle with a knife, then spread the tuna mixture evenly on top of the bun halves with a tablespoon.
Place the baguettes next to each other on the prepared baking sheet & put in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until the tuna baguettes have turned into a nice golden brown color. Take the done baguettes out of the oven, garnish with finely chopped parsley and serve. Have fun baking!
