It doesn’t always have to be meat, at least we have more and more vegetarian dishes on the table during the week. This creamy & colorful potato pan comes without meat and is prepared super fast.
In today’s post I’ll show you a delicious & veggie potato recipe with carrots, kohlrabi & peas, the cooking including all preparations is done in 20 – 25 minutes. Fast, easy & delicious. I wish you lots of fun cooking!

Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kilograms waxy potatoes
- 3 – 4 carrots
- 1 large kohlrabi
- 200 grams frozen peas
- 200 milliliters cream
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt & pepper
- A bit lemon juice

Instructions:

Peel potatoes & cut into small cubes. Peel carrots & cut into sticks or slices. Peel the kohlrabi and cut into sticks or cubes. Take the peas out of the fridge and prepare them to thaw. Mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with a sip of cold water until smooth & set aside.
Put the potatoes, carrots & kohlrabi in a large saucepan or pan, distribute evenly, salt well & pour in 300 milliliters of water. Bring the vegetables to a boil & simmer with the lid on over low to medium heat for about 10 – 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
As soon as the potatoes are cooked, stir in 200 milliliters of cream and the cornstarch mixture, also add the peas. Season everything with salt, pepper and a little lemon juice, then bring to the boil and simmer until the sauce has reached the desired consistency.
Spread the colorful potato pan with carrots, kohlrabi & peas on plates & serve. Have fun cooking!
