Greek Style Tortilla Wraps

Greek Style Tortilla Wraps

Ingredients for 8 Greek Style Tortilla Wraps:

  • 8 Tortilla Wraps (bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups of Greek cream yogurt
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped dill (fresh or frozen)
  • ½ lime
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 200 grams of feta cheese
  • 12 olives
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 red onion
  • ½ head of Iceberg lettuce
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper

Kitchen Helper/Gadgets:

  • Garlic press
  • Grater
  • Bowl to mix the sauce
  • Mixing bowl

Instructions:

Halve ½ cucumber lengthwise and remove seeds with a spoon, then grate coarsely with a grater. In a bowl stir together coarsely grated cucumber, 2 cups Greek cream yogurt, 1 pressed clove of garlic, 1 tablespoon of chopped dill, the juice of ½ lime, a dash of olive oil and a pinch of salt & pepper with a whisk or spoon until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Possibly season again with salt & pepper and then store the sauce until ready to serve in the fridge. Desedd pepper and cut into strips. Peel red onion and cut into thin strips. Cut tomatoes first into 1 centimeter wide slices, then dice. Cut cucumber lengthwise into quarters and then in about ½ – 1 centimeter large pieces. Cut olives into thin slices. Cut iceberg lettuce in very thin strips.

Give peppers along with onions, olives, cucumbers and tomatoes in a mixing bowl. Then crumble 200 grams of feta cheese over the vegetables and carefully mix together. Successively spread the tortilla wraps with a few tablespoons of tzatziki sauce, then line the middle with a little Iceberg lettuce and the vegetable-feta-cheese-stuffing. Roll the tortillas tightly and tuck in one end, then serve.

Spread the kebab pockets from the inside with plenty of sauce, then fill the pockets with the grilled vegetables, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, red cabbage & crumbled feta cheese, then serve immediatelly. Bon Appetite!
