Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 milliliters cream
- 300 milliliters milk
- 100 milliliters vanilla syrup
- 100 grams sugar
- 2 sachets vanilla sugar
- 10 grams locust bean gum
- Smarties or other toppings of your choice
Required kitchen gadgets, helper & preparations:
- Mixing bowl
- Whisk or mixer
- Ice cream maker
- Maybe a piping bag
- Ice cream cups
- Small ice cream spoons
Instructions for the Homemade McFlurry with Smarties:
…for the ice cream base:
In a large mixing bowl combine 400 milliliters cream together with 300 milliliters milk, 100 milliliters vanilla syrup, 100 grams sugar, 2 sachtes vanilla sugar & 10 grams locust bean gum. Stir together with a whisk until everything is well cominbed & sugar & locust bean gum have completely dissolved.
…for the ice cream:
Pour the ice cream base into an ice cream maker & allow to freeze for about 30 – 35 minutes until creamy. Alternatively the ice cream base can also be stored in a freezer for about 5 to 6 hours, to prevent large ice crystals during freezing give the ice cream base a good stir every 45 – 60 minutes.
…for the McFlurry:
Mix the done ice cream with Samrties or other sweets of your choice & then spread the ice cream to 4 ice cream cups. Garnish the ice cream with more sweets on top & serve.
