A Fanta cake or lemonade cake is the perfect cake for every birthday party. The cake is baked fast, super juicy & there is no one who does not love this cake.

Ingredients for a sheet Fanta cake:
…for cake base:
- 6 eggs
- 350 grams flour
- 200 grams sugar
- 200 grams butter
- 200 milliliters Fanta (or other lemonade of your choice)
- 50 grams cornstarch
- A sachet each of vanilla sugar & baking powder
- 250 grams powdered sugar
- 3 – 5 tablespoons Fanta for sugar icing
- Sugar sprinkles for garnishing
Required kitchen gadgets, helper & preparations:
- Mixing bowl for batter
- Baking Sheet + baking paper
- Possibly a baking frame
- Small bowl for sugar icing
…preparations for batter:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Line a baking sheet with baking paper & possibly place a baking frame onto the sheet. Melt 200 grams butter on the stove or in the microwave. Put 6 eggs, 200 grams sugar & 1 sachet vanilla sugar into a mixing bowl & mix together with a blender for about 3 – 4 minutes until fluffy.
Next add 350 grams flour, 50 grams cornstarch, the melted butter & 200 milliliters of Fanta to the batter, stir in briefly with a blender until everything is well combined & then pour the batter onto the prepared baking tray & spread evenly up to the corners.
Bake the Fanta cake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown, then get the done cake out of the oven, allow to cool slightly and then (if used) remove the baking frame.
…for cake topping:
Put 250 grams powdered sugar in a small bowl, add in Fanta by tablespoons (about 3 – 5 tablespoons) & stir together until you got a smooth but not too liquid sugar icing.
Pour the icing on top of the cooled Fanta cake, spread evenly and finally garnish the cake with a few sugar sprinkles. Cut the cake into pieces & serve on plates. Have fun baking!
