Ingredients for 12 Baking Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins:
- 4 ripe bananas
- 200 grams flour
- 100 grams chocolate chips
- 75 grams butter
- 50 grams sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- 1 heaping teaspoon baking powder
Required kitchen gadgets, helper & preparations:
- Plate + fork to mash bananas
- Mixing bowl
- Kitchen machine or mixer
- Muffin pan
- Paper liners
- Whisk
- Cooling rack
Instructions:
…preparations for batter:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Line a muffin pan with paper liner. Melt 75 grams butter in the microwave or on the stove. Mix flour with 1 heaping teaspoon baking powder in a small bowl & set aside until further use. Put 4 peeled bananas on a plate and mash with a fork until you got banana puree.
In a mixing bowl combine 2 eggs, 50 grams sugar & 1 sachet vanilla sugar, then mix together with a mixer or kitchen machine for about 2 – 3 minutes until beautifully fluffy. If that’s done add banana mash, flour mixture, melted butter & 100 grams chocolate chips & briefly mix together with a whisk until a smooth batter.
…for chocolate banana muffins:
Transfer the batter into the prepared muffin pan with the help of 2 tablespoons. Bake the muffins at 200°C (top/bottom heat) in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes until golden & beautifully risen. Get the done muffins out of the oven & allow to cool on a wire rack. Have fun baking!
