In today’s post, I’ll show you a super quick & easy recipe for chicken strips with a creamy curry sauce & paprika.

Before preparation, the sauce is simply mixed with curry powder, cornstarch, vegetable stock & cream & then cooked with all the other ingredients to create a creamy chicken ragout. Have fun cooking!

Chicken Strips with Curry Cream Sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 grams chicken breast fillets
  • 3 – 4 bell peppers
  • 400 milliliters vegetable stock
  • 200 milliliters cream
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • Orange juice & chili flakes to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt & pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Required kitchen gadgets, helper & preparations:

  • Tall container to mix curry sauce
  • Whisk
  • Large frying pan

Instructions:

Cut the chicken breast into strips or small pieces. Wash and core the peppers & roughly cut into pieces. Peel and roughly chop the onion. Put 400 milliliters of vegetable stock, 200 milliliters of cream & 1 tablespoon each of curry powder and cornstarch in a tall container & whisk together until well combined.

Heat up a large pan with a dash of oil & sear the chicken all around for 3 – 4 minutes over medium heat, then lift the chicken out of the pan & set aside. Next, add peppers & onions to the pan & sweat for another 3 – 4 minutes, turning occasionally over medium heat.




Put the chicken back into the pan, also pour in the prepared curry sauce & then allow to simmer over medium heat until the chicken is cooked & the sauce has reached a creamy consistency. Finally, season with salt, pepper & possibly some chilli & orange juice to taste & remove the pan from the stove.

Spread the chicken strips with curry cream sauce on plates, serve with rice & garnish with a little finely chopped parsley. Have fun cooking!
