In today’s post, I’ll show you a simple recipe for a delicious pasta salad with tzatziki dressing and vegetables, the ideal salad for any barbecue party or as a main meal.
I used fusilli for this pasta salad, but other types of pasta such as penne or spaghetti are also suitable for this recipe. Have fun cooking!

Ingredients for 1 large bowl full of salad:
- 500 grams pasta (“fusilli” or small macaroni for example)
- 250 grams cherry tomatoes
- 300 grams Greek yogurt
- 1 small cucumber
- 1 red onion
- 2 – 3 cloves garlic
- ½ lemon
- Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
- Parsley for garnish
Required kitchen gadgets, helper & preparations:
- Large pot for pasta
- Pasta strainer
- Large bowl for salad

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil & cook the pasta in it for 7 – 8 minutes or according to the instructions on the package, then drain over a pasta sieve & rinse with cold water.
Halve or quarter the small tomatoes depending on their size. Cut the cucumber & into small pieces or cubes. Peel the onion & chop finely. Peel garlic & finely chop or use a garlic press here.
Put the vegetables and the drained pasta in a large salad bowl, add 300 grams of Greek cream yoghurt, a good dash of olive oil, a good squeeze of lemon juice & season everything with a good pinch of salt & pepper to taste.
Stir the tzatziki pasta salad well so that all the ingredients can be evenly distributed, then spread the salad on deep plates & serve garnished with finely chopped parsley. Have fun cooking!
