Broccoli is one of my favorite vegetables, pasta always works and cheese sauce goes perfectly with it. In today’s post I’ll show you a quick & easy recipe for farfalle pasta with creamy cheese sauce & broccoli florets. Very simple & on the table in less than 25 minutes. As an alternative to the farfalle, you can of course also use any other type of pasta.
We stir together the sauce for this recipe in a mixing bowl and later just pour it over the fried broccoli, add cheese, let it simmer until creamy and finally mix everything with pasta. Delicious! Have fun cooking!

Instructions:
…for pasta with broccoli & cheese sauce:
For the sauce, put 1 heaped teaspoon of cornstarch, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of salt & 600 milliliters of milk in a mixing bowl and mix with a whisk or spoon until all the ingredients are evenly distributed, then set aside until further use.
Divide the broccoli into florets, peel and dice the stalk. Next, heat a large pan with a good splash of oil and fry the broccoli over medium heat for 3 – 4 minutes, turning occasionally, seasoning with salt and pepper. Pour the prepared sauce over the broccoli, bring to the boil while stirring occasionally, then add 100 grams of grated cheese and allow to melt. Simmer the sauce gently over low heat until the pasta is cooked.
Meanwhile, bring a large pot with plenty of salted water to the boil and cook the farfalle (or other type of pasta) for 8 – 10 minutes or according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain in a pasta sieve and add directly to the sauce, reserving some of the pasta water.
Stir everything well, allow to simmer briefly until combined & creamy and season with salt, pepper and, if necessary, pasta water. Spread the pasta with broccoli and cheese sauce on plates and serve. Have fun cooking!
