- 1 liter water
- 500 grams ground beef
- 500 milliliters sieved tomatoes
- 200 grams canned corn
- 200 grams canned black beans
- 1 large onions
- 2 – 3 cloves garlic
- A teaspoon each of oregano, sweet paprika, cumin & gound coriander
- Salt & pepper
- Oil for frying
Required kitchen gadgets, helper & preparations:
- Large pan or pot with lid
Instructions:
…for One Pot Pasta:
Peel off onion & garlic & chop finely. Then heat up a large pan with a dash of oil, add the onions & garlic to the pan & sweat for 2 – 3 minutes over a medium heat until translucent with occasional turning.
Next, increase the heat a little, add 500 grams of ground beef & fry until crumbly, turning occasionally. Then stir in 1 teaspoon each of cumin, ground coriander, oregano & sweet paprika powder & allow to roast briefly.
Afterwards add 500 grams of fusilli pasta (alternatively another type of pasta), 500 milliliters of sieved tomatoes, 1 liter of water & 1 tablespoon of salt to the pan, stir everything well, bring to a boil & allow to simmer gently over low heat with the lid closed for approx. 10 – 12 minutes.
Stir the one pot pasta from time to time to mix all ingredients well & to avoid the pasta from burning to the bottom of the pan. As soon as the pasta is cooked & has absorbed the liquid almost completely, add 200 grams of corn, 200 grams of black beans & a good pinch of pepper.
Finally stir the pasta well one last time & warm it up briefly, then pull the pan off the stove & spread the one pot pasta on deep plates & ideally serve immediately. Have fun cooking!
